WHAT: Learning the world all over again with Shuri at his side in the Big Apple.
WHERE:New York City
RATING: Potential for NC-17.
Some time had pasted since the events of the Infinity Wars; Peter finding himself hidden away from the rest of the world in the foreign nation of Wakanda. It was a technological marvel and yet when Starlord arrived it was under threat by the same evil who killed the one he loved. Peter tracked Thanos back to his old home world of Earth, a place he thought he would never have any reason to go again and yet here he was standing in one of the most crowded cities in world; New York City.
After the battle with Thanos ended and all the dust finally settled, Peter still mourned over the loss of his female counterpart; Gamora. Riddled with self doubt and welcomed by the people of Wakanda as a guest for however long he would like, Peter took said offer and learnt about the technological marvels their society had to offer. In due time Peter ran into T'Challa's sister, Shuri, a woman of great intelligence and even greater beauty all en composed with a sarcastic flare and good sense of humor. She became interested in his alien technology; Helmet, Quad blasters and hell even the Milano was thoroughly examined and was being repaired if he ever wished to leave yet the more time he spent in Birnin Zana, capital city of Wakanda with Shuri at his side the more he didn't want to leave. Their culture was so intriguing and rich, five different tribes unifying under one flag, forming one of if not the richest nations in the world.
Time passed by fleetingly and in the blink of an eye almost a year had passed; the two becoming rather inseparable even if Peter was having trouble adjusting back home on Earth living day to day like your average Joe. It was nice but he still wasn't completely used to the differences here, after all it had been some time since his childhood.
Shuri came up with a rather brilliant idea not just for Peter but the both of them to enjoy together, a trip to New York City once again to show him the foothold for the Wakandan Embassy. Not only that but she thought it would be the perfect place to reintroduce Starlord into modern society. What better way than one of the busiest cities in the world? Like right now for example, the two of them stood hand in hand, starring up at the skyscrapers overlooking Times Square completely awestruck. After a minute or two his attention turns back towards that of his female counterpart, giving her hand a bit of a squeeze in determination. "Well...I guess there is no turning back now, huh?" A small, yet familiar smirk to Shuri now forming over his features.

Date: 2018-08-17 01:38 am (UTC)Peter's technology and story had intrigued her at first but over time they'd become close friends. They both had a love for making references and Shuri had years of Earth's history to catch Peter up on. Meme's and the internet made things so easy.
This trip was in hopes that he might find a place on Earth. As selfish as it was, she didn't want him leaving.
She looked back up at Peter, her lips twisting into a smirk. "Like you would turn back." She'd seen some parts of the city but never the busiest area's. It hadn't been safe without her guard but T'Challa seemed to think that she was save enough with Peter at her side. "Where did you want to go first? There is ice skating." She knew that from the second Home Alone movie.
